The ALS
(amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a chronic progressive disease
characterized by motor neuron lesions. The causes of this disease have
not been fully elucidated. You should know that this form of sclerosis
is degenerative. Numerous causes of the disease are discussed, including
(but not limited to):
- Viral origin
- Toxic origin
- Hereditary
Stem cells have the capacity to regenerate and are able to grow into different types of cells. The stem cell therapy recovers the motor neurons and other cells in order to protect these neurons and to re-establish the microenvironment into the brain and the spinal cord.
